Mission Statement
Earth Ecology Trust is an Irish based environmental organisation (currently seeking charitable status). The main goal is to promote the research, conservation, protection, and improvement of both the physical and natural environment through charitable means.
1. Main Object
The main object for which the Company is established is to advance the education of the general public, policy makers and educators and improve awareness and understanding of environmental issues by promoting the research, conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and animals, both domestic and wild, through means which are wholly and exclusively charitable according to the law for the time being in Ireland.
2. Subsidiary Objects
As objects incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the Main Object, the Company shall have the following subsidiary objects:
2.1 For the benefit of the community to prevent or relieve the suffering of animals.
2.2 To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, shelter and security for animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage.
2.3 To educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention and cruelty to and suffering among animals.
2.4 For the benefit of the community to promote the conservation, protection, preservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment, including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing all flora and fauna.
2.5 To end the threats and dangers of environmental pollution.
2.6 To promote activities to engage the public in developing a healthy natural environment.
2.7 To ensure that legislation is effective in protecting the natural environment.
2.8 To facilitate the co-ordinated effort of Governmental and Non-Governmental organisations whose goal is the protection of the natural environment.
2.9 For the benefit of the community to advance environmental sustainability.
2.10 To research, investigate and examine products, procedures and services and their suitability in the pursuit of sustainability of the natural environment.
